About Us...

he Partnership for Families, Children and Youth received a very generous grant from the Walton County Healthcare Foundation to begin two much needed positions among the Walton County community: Community Health Educator and Youth Development Coordinator.  DeDe Harris has filled the role as Health Educator, and Emily Gallman has taken on the position as Youth Development Coordinator.

As part of the initiative to reach out to youth in the Walton County area, this website www.whycantyou.org was created as a forum for ideas, questions, and information.  This website is designed to be a virtual place for youth to be informed on issues that affect them and get answers to questions that they may be asking.

So with the preface of "Why Can't You?" this website gives you the information so that "You Can."  Ironically enough, Why Can't You also stands for Walton County Youth.

Get impowered, you can write a resume, you can go to college, you can speak your mind, you can be informed, you can make a difference.

Why Can't You?  You Can.
