**Maria and Jenna also suggested that YAB members get involved with helping at the Special Olympics event here in Walton County.

- Youth Advocacy Board Young Harris Winter Retreat permission slips were also handed out. All permission slips are due at the next meeting. YAB members that go to Walton County Public Schools will meet at 1:30pm at the Monroe Walmart. Social Circle Public School students will meet at 1:30pm in front of their school and must not forget to bring their school permission slips with them to attend. - Announcement: Ms. Emily has taken a job with the City of Monroe and will no longer be leading the YAB, but will continue to volunteer instead! It will be business as usual going forward, with Ms. Amy, Ms. Alisha and Mr. Alex still heading up the Youth Advocacy Board.
