The Youth Advocacy Board
his dynamic group of individuals make an important team of the Partnership for Families, Children, and Youth.  Events and programs that take place across Walton County will often involve the Youth Advocacy Board.  We are always recruiting engaged and motivated students to join our team!
What is it?

The Youth Advocacy Board is made up of students from Walton County.

Mission:
To provide young leaders with a positive environment for their ideas, opinions, and for their concerns to be recognized and acted upon.

Goals:

  1. Serve as a voice representing Walton County Youth.

  2. The YAB serves as an outlet for community youth to have a voice on issues that affect them.

  3. Community Service Projects

  4. The YAB identifies key youth issues within our community and surrounding areas. All services projects are voted on by the youth and stem from identified key issues.

  5. Affect Youth Policy.

  6. Youth serving on the advocacy board are encouraged to get involved in political issues from the local to national level including the local board of education.

  7. Community Youth Activities

  8. YAB plans, organizes, and implements fun educational Youth activities within Walton County.
