  • It can seriously affect your sense of time and your coordination, impacting things like driving.
  • It could also limit your body’s ability to fight off infection.
  • Marijuana could also be laced with materials such as PCP, formaldehyde, or codeine cough syrup without your knowledge. Blunts, which are cigars filled with marijuana, sometimes have crack cocaine added.
  • Marijuana isn’t as addictive as other drugs but some users do develop signs of dependence.
  • It can cause chronic coughing, chest colds, lung infections, breathing problems, and cancer.
  • It is illegal to buy or sell marijuana.
  • If you know a friend using Marijuana then be a real friend and urge them to seek professional help.
  • Methamphetamine or Speed, Meth, Crystal, Crank, Tweak, Go-fast, Ice, Glass, Uppers, or Black Beauties.

  • Meth causes mind and mood changes such as anxiety, euphoria, and depression but these are only the short term effects! Long-term effects can include chronic fatigue, paranoid or delusional thinking, and permanent psychological damage.
  • It can causes the body to be pushed faster than it’s supposed to go by increasing the heart rate, blood pressure, and risk of a stroke.
  • Meth can also cause violent or psychotic behavior.
  • It can kill you.
  • It is illegal in all states and is highly dangerous.
  • Meth can also cause irreversible damage to blood vessels in the brain. If users use the drug by injecting it they are at risk for catching HIV/AIDS.

  • Inhalants or Glue, Kick, Bang, Sniff, Huff, Poppers, Whippets, or Texas Shoeshine

  • Inhalants such as glue or paint thinner that are sniffed or huffed to cause an instant high could cause irreversible physical and mental damage.
  • They also starve the body of oxygen and force the heart to beat abnormally.
  • Users could also experience nausea and nosebleeds; develop liver, lung, and kidney problems; and lose their sense of hearing or smell.
  • Excessive use could reduce muscle tone or strength.
  • The could also kill you instantly, causing you to die of suffocation, choking on your vomit, or have a heart attack.

  • Hallucinogens or Lysergic acid diethylamide: LSD, Acid, Blotter. Psilocybin: Magic Mushrooms, Shrooms, Phencyclidine: PCP, Angel Dust, Boat, Ozone, Wack. Ecstasy: E, X, XTC.

  • Hallucinogens cause you to think you’re hearing voices, seeing images, and feeling things that don’t exist.
  • They cause an increase in heart rate and blood pleasure. They can put you in a coma or cause heart or lung failure.
  • Hallucinogens may cause you to feel confused suspicious, and disoriented. PCP causes you many PCP users to be brought to the emergency room because of its disturbing psychological effects.
  • They are illegal to buy, sell, or possess.

  • Heroin or Smack, Horse, Mud, Brown Sugar, Junk, Black Tar, Big H, Dope, Skag

  • It slows down the way you think, reaction time, and memory.
  • Heroin also has special problems such as the risks of HIV, hepatitis B & C, and other diseases that can occur from sharing needles.
  • It is highly addictive because it enters the brain so quickly. HIV/AIDS, violence, fetal effects, tuberculosis, and crime are all connected to people abusing heroin.
  • Heroin can kill you. Medical examiners have reported it as being the most used drugs in overdose deaths.

  • Steroids or Arnolds, Gym Candy, Pumpers, Stackers, Weight Trainers, Juice

  • Users who use steroids constantly and continually could have a heart attack or stroke.
  • Steroids could also effect your emotional status causing you to feel angry but for no reason.
  • They are only safe when being monitered by a doctor.
  • It is illegal to sell steroids or to possess them without a proscription.

  • Club Drugs or Ecstasy: E, X, XTC. GHB: Liquid Ecstasy, Liquid X, Grievous Bodily Harm, Georgia Home Boy. Ketamine: K, Special K, Ket, Vitamin K, Kit Kat. Rohypnol: Roofies, R-2

  • Club drugs are the different drugs used at all-night dance parties, concerts, or nightclubs.
  • They could injure the neurons in your brain causing your senses, memory, judgment, and coordination to be impaired.
  • Club drugs such as Ecstasy cause your heart rate and blood pressure to be increased and can lead to heart or kidney failure.
  • GHB and Rohypnol are club drugs that are often used during rape. They are used because they cause you to be unconscious and not remember anything you did or said while on the drug.
  • Higher doses could cause severe breathing problems or even death.
  • It is illegal to buy or sell club drugs. Also it is a federal crime to use drugs to assist in a sexual assault.

  • Cocaine or Coke, Dust, Toot, Snow, Blow, Sneeze, Powder, Lines, Rock (Crack)

  • Cocaine is made from the coca plant but causes a short term high but following it’s exclusive high is an extreme feeling of depression and a huge craving for more of the drug.
  • It can be snorted as powder, injected by a needle, or changed into a crystal form to be smoked.
  • Not only does it affect you when you’re high but also when you’re not high. You’ll experience paranoia, hostile, and very anxious.
  • It is addictive and flip your whole life upside down COMPLETELY!
  • Cocaine is illegal so you can’t buy it, use it, or sell it!
  • Even using it one time, could cause a seizure or heart attack.
  • Cocaine should never be combined with other drugs or alcohol because it combines the different effects of each other.
